The Spring 2020 Ph.D. Commencement and Hooding will be held Monday, May 4, at 7 p.m. in The Rialto Center for the Arts. See below for more details.
If you indicated on your Graduation Application that you will not participate in Ph.D. Commencement and Hooding Ceremony, no provision will be made for your seating. If you subsequently decide to attend, you must change your status by completing a Graduation Change Request form or contact the Graduation Office at 404-413-2248 or email@example.com to sign up for participation.
Orders placed before February 21 will be available for pick-up at the Commencement Fair taking place on March 30 and 31 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. in the Student Center East Ballroom. The deadline to PURCHASE regalia is March 15, and the deadline to RENT regalia is March 31.

A LIMITED amount of rental regalia will be available at the ceremony. Regalia will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Candidates should report to The Rialto Center lobby for lineup at 5:30 p.m. Commencement marshals will be available to issue instructions to candidates about the procession. Ph.D. candidates will be lined up with their faculty adviser alphabetically by college.
During the ceremony, candidates will be hooded by their academic adviser or other designee. Candidates should confirm that their adviser or designee will be attending the ceremony.
