Fall 2018 Commencement for bachelor’s degree candidates will be held Tuesday, Dec. 11 and Wednesday, Dec. 12 at McCamish Pavilion. Commencement at McCamish Pavilion will be ticketed. Each degree candidate will be allotted six tickets. Candidates planning to attend Commencement must register for the ceremony through the Commencement website by Friday, Nov. 16. If you do not register for the ceremony no provision will be made for your seating and you will not receive your allotment of tickets.

Cap and Gown
A LIMITED supply of cap and gowns will be available for purchase on Commencement day. Regalia will be available on a first come first served basis.
Rules and Regulations
To ensure the safety of degree candidates, guests and faculty, and to comply with relevant laws and regulations, all individuals and bags are subject to inspection prior to entry.

- Confetti or silly string
- Artificial noise makers

Parking and Transportation
McCamish Pavilion is served by two MARTA rail stations: the North Avenue Station and the Midtown Station. The closest station to the Commencement ceremonies is the Midtown Station.
Guests with a valid handicap parking tag may park on Fowler Street. More parking details will be made available shortly.
Check-in and Line-up
*Degree candidates participating in Commencement are expected to wear the custom Georgia State regalia.

Following the ceremony, GradImages photographers will be circulating outside Georgia State Stadium to capture additional candid photographs of degree candidates and their families. The GradImages staff will be wearing red vests, so they’ll be highly visible and easy to locate.
