Don’t bring food, drink, balloons, noisemakers, signs or banners.

Outside food and drink are not allowed.

After the ceremony.

Please plan to meet your graduate outside in the West Plaza or International Plaza following the ceremony (weather permitting).  Graduates will exit the building directly to the plazas and will not be re-entering the stadium.

Leave purses, coats and other belongings with your guests or at home.

Students and faculty will not be able to check coats or purses at the Georgia Tech McCamish Pavilion. You will have to carry anything you bring or leave it unattended.

Remember your camera.

Parents and guests will have the opportunity to photograph and videotape their graduate at any time, but they will not be allowed on the floor of McCamish Pavilion.

Professional photographs will be taken of each candidate as they walk across the stage. For details on acquiring those pictures please contact Grad Images.

Understand commencement etiquette.

While recognizing that commencement is truly a celebration for graduates, it is important for parents, guests and students to acknowledge that it is a formal academic ceremony to be conducted with respect and dignity. Please turn off all cell phones during the ceremony and remain seated for the duration of the ceremony.
